The Steps of Child CPR

i. Make sure the scene is safe.
ii. Tap the victim firmly and shout loudly.
iii. If no response or no normal response, yell for help.
a. If help comes, send them to call 911
b. If no help comes stay with the child and scan for signs of breathing.
iv. If not breathing begin compressions.
c. 30 compressions at a rate of 100 beats per minute. Push down 2 inches
v. Give 2 breaths, making the chest rise.
vi. Do 5 cycles of CPR then go call for help.
vii. Come back to the victim and continue CPR until help arrives or the victim comes back to life.
