What is the ACLS course?
Taking an ACLS class has never been easier! The American Heart Association ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) Course is designed to teach providers the knowledge and skills needed to evaluate and manage the first 10 minutes of an adult VF/VT cardiac arrest and they work as a team reading cardiac rhythms and drug administration including the different drugs (Atropine, Adenosine, Epinephrine, etc.…) and routes of administration. Students taking the ALCS class are expected to learn to manage the 10 core ACLS cases: respiratory emergency, 4 types of cardiac arrest (simple VF/VT, complex VF/VT, PEA, and asystole), 4 types of pre-arrest emergencies (bradycardia, stable tachycardia, unstable tachycardia, and acute coronary syndromes), and stroke.
Who should take this course?
This ACLS class is designed for those who are emergency, intensive care, or critical care personnel; emergency medical providers such as physicians, nurses, EMTs, paramedics, respiratory therapists, and other professionals who may need to respond to cardiovascular emergencies.

PALS- Pediatric Advanced Life Support ACLS AND PALS
What is the PALS course?
The American Heart Association PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) course gives healthcare professionals the knowledge and skills to better recognize and treat critically ill infants and children. The PALS class uses a scenario-based, team approach to teach pediatric emergency management of pediatric patients approaching or already in respiratory or cardiac arrest and does treatment beyond the first few emergency minutes and goes through stabilizing patients or transport phases of a pediatric emergency, in or out of the hospital.
Who should take this course?
This PALS course is designated towards people whose jobs are in the healthcare field which mainly cares for children such as pediatricians, paramedics and nurses or any other job that requires working in a medical environment that involves young children or infants.
